How important are the gutters? 

Gutters are an essential part of the exterior drainage system of the house. If gutters are not draining properly water can back on the gutters and they begin to overflow causing damage to fascia boards and or roof rafters.   

Having the right size gutters is also very important so it can handle the amount of water coming down from the roof. 

Maintaining the gutters by cleaning all leaves and thoroughly power washing them is something that should be done at least once a year to prevent clogs and ensure proper drainage.
